For beautiful and healthy skin, the natural glow has always its value.  An increase in blood circulation and oxygen give a radiant look to the skin. The face mask helps in improving blood circulation to the skin.

There can be various reasons for dull skin. If there is no medical condition linked then one can have glowing skin by using the following homemade face masks.

Homemade Face Masks for Glowing Skin

Homemade Hair Mask1. Homemade Face Mask with Honey

Ingredients

Honey (Two teaspoons)
Goat Milk (Four teaspoons)

Honey Benefits for Skin

Honey is packed with antioxidants that help in slowing down the ageing process. It's enriched in antibacterial properties that are quite effective in treating acne and preventing breakouts. It can be used as a natural moisturiser and helps in opening pores to unclog them easily. Honey gives a natural glow to the skin and is the best ingredient for a DIY face mask.

Goat Milk Benefits for Skin

Goat milk has a PH similar to that of human skin and works wonders as a natural moisturiser. It contains skin-loving vitamins that give skin a natural glow. It's enriched in Vitamin D, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C. Vitamin D helps in slowing the process of ageing; makes skin soft and supple. Vitamin E has multifarious skin benefits. It naturally hydrates the skin; wanes fine lines and wrinkles. It is important to know What Vitamin E Does for Your Skin for its incredible benefits. Vitamin C is good in the production of collagen that treats wrinkles and fades scars.

Method

Take four tablespoons of warm goat milk and mix it with two tablespoons of honey. Apply evenly on the skin with the help of cotton balls. Leave this mixture for 10-20 minutes to dry. When the mask dries on the skin, first, wash the face with lukewarm water and then cold water. Pat the skin dry. This homemade face mask can be used twice a week for glowing skin.

It contains lactic acid that has bleaching properties and thus helps in skin brightening and toning down acne scars.

Sandalwood Powder's Skin Benefits

Sandalwood powder is best known for its antibacterial properties. It has enormous benefits for the skin. It helps in killing bacteria that cause acne and can be used as an exfoliator. It gives skin a youthful look by smoothing fine lines. Before buying sandalwood powder, it's important to know which sandalwood powder is real and good for the skin. Also. there are top tips to identify pure sandalwood powder.

Turmeric Benefits for Skin

Turmeric has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Turmeric in homemade face masks fights acne and reduces face blemishes. Sometimes oxidative stress causes acne; turmeric is jam-packed with (neutralising) antioxidants that protect the skin from oxidative stress.

Method

Add one teaspoon of gram flour to a bowl. Add 2 teaspoons of yoghurt, a three-quarter teaspoon of sandalwood powder and a half teaspoon of turmeric in it. Mix all ingredients well. Apply this mixture on the face with the help of your fingertips. Leave this mixture on the face for 10-20 minutes to dry. When the face mask is dry, first, wash the face with tepid water and then with cold water. Pat dry skin rather than rub it after washing your face. Apply this homemade face mask twice a week for beautiful glowing skin.

3. Clay Mask

Ingredients

Multani Mitti (One tablespoon)
Apple cider vinegar (One teaspoon)
Water (Three teaspoons)

Multani Mitti (Clay) Benefits on the Skin

Multani mitti (Clay) has wonderful effects on the skin. It's enriched in minerals; best for cleansing and detoxifying the skin. This natural ingredient draws out debris and other impurities from the skin pores, leaving it smooth and bright. It also helps in controlling excessive sebum on the skin.

Apple Cider Vinegar Skin Benefits

Apple cider vinegar has inflammatory properties that protect the skin from breakouts. It contains acetic acid that unclogs blocked pores. It removes dead skin cells from the face and gives it an even tone. It's good in lowering skin PH levels to dry up acne.

Method

Mix one tablespoon of Multani mitti (Clay) with one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and three tablespoons of water. Apply this paste on the skin with the help of your fingertips. Leave it on the face to dry for 10-20 minutes. First, wash the face with slightly warm water and then with cold water. Pat the skin dry rather than rubbing. Use this homemade face mask for glowing skin twice a week or as per requirement.

Disclaimer:

Every human is different. It's not 100% guaranteed that every homemade face mask suits everyone or that everyone has a similar treatment result. So for applying anything on the skin first do a patch test on the wrist, especially for people with sensitive skin. Only carry on with the homemade face mask when there are no side effects of it.
