What is Vitamin D3?
The role of Vitamin D is to regulate important minerals in the body. These minerals include calcium and phosphate and together they play a vital role in the formation and metabolism of bones. I just studied Vitamin D this morning for an article. I had a doctor several years ago that told me the vast majority of her patients were Vitamin D deficient and was surprised that I wasn't.
