Aloe Vera is famous because of its medical properties. It helps in lightening skin scars and fights free radicals that harm the skin. It provides skin with the necessary hydration and revives skin cells. Both Vitamin E and Aloe Vera have antioxidants. Vitamin E encourages scar healing and protects skin from damage by pollutants and may shield it from atmospheric skin ageing. Vitamin E is an Essential oil and Essential oil needs to be diluted. Mix essential oil with carrier oil. The carrier oil can be olive oil, coconut oil, rapeseed oil and there are many more carrier oils in that an essential oil can be blended. Rapeseed oil is quite frugal to use and also contains Vitamin E along with omega 3, 6, 9 and Vitamin K. It contains 10 times more omega 3 than olive oil so it's best as a carrier oil for both oily and dry skin but if it's not available then olive oil or coconut oil can be used. Both Olive oil and coconut oils contain antioxidants that protect the skin. Apart from them, one can use any carrier oil of his/her choice.

Mix 12 drops of Vitamin E oil with 30 ml of carrier oil. Apply this mixture on the face every night after having a face wash. Coconut oil has wonderful benefits on the skin. For dry skin, it's best to use coconut oil as a carrier oil. Check the post 'Benefits Of Coconut Oil' to know about its incredible benefits on the skin.

How to use Vitamin E (Tocopherol) Oil on the Face:

Cleanse the face with a mild cleanser for a few minutes then wash with tepid water or wash the face with a face wash that suits the skin type. Pat the skin dry gently. Pour 3-4 drops of Vitamin E oil mixture on the hand and rub it on both hands. Now, apply this mixture to the face. The skin absorbs this mixture within a few minutes and it works as a natural moisturiser.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol) Supplement for the Skin:

There are also Vitamin E supplements available in the market for the skin. Taking a higher dose of Vitamin E could be dangerous for the skin but there is no clear evidence of it. It's good to take the recommended dose of Vitamin E to reap its benefits. The recommended dose of Vitamin E for men is 4 mg and for women is 3 mg per day.
