10 Korean Skincare steps that Rejuvenate Your Skin (Korean Beauty routine)

Korean Skincare products and Korean skincare steps are getting popular these days because of its positive side effects on the skin. It's not compulsory that you do all 10 steps every day, it depends on your skin type and condition. It's actually using different skin care products on the skin: making it healthy and glowy. If you've a busy routine then you can skip steps and do that suits your routine. People have seen a good result after following Korean beauty routine.

Korean Skincare Step #1;
Do Oil Cleansing:

Oil cleansing helps to remove any dirt or debris from the skin. It removes makeup and impurities from your face. You can use Korean oil cleanser or the one that suits you. Coconut oil is in one of the best oil cleansers. You can also check other oil cleansers on post 10 Best Cleansing Oil.

Korean Skincare Step #2;
Do Foam Cleansing:

Foam cleanser applies on a wet face. It's hard to remove all dirt in just one cleansing step so double cleansing (oil + foam) helps to remove any leftover makeup or dirt from your face. You will feel a perfect cleansed skin.
NEOGEN Dermalogy Real Fresh cleansing Foam,160g /5.6 oz (Green Tea) is a Korean Skincare product. It doesn't only gently cleanse your skin but also hydrates it. It contains green tea which has powerful antioxidants that help in repairing skin cells.

Korean Skincare Step #3;
Use Exfoliator:

Exfoliator removes dead skin cells from your skin. It clears thin dull skin layer and leaves a bright fresh skin. If you've to use exfoliator often (3 times a week) then use apricot exfoliators, for a weekly use charcoal based exfoliators are best. The charcoal based exfoliators are intense so using it once a week is enough. This step is also not recommended to use on daily basis.

Korean Skincare Step #4;
Applying Toner:

Toner uses to balance skin PH. It also hydrates the skin. After cleansing and exfoliating your skin needs hydration so toner provides your skin necessary hydration. It helps to prep skin for further process and make them more effective. Toner is more suitable to oily or acne prone skin. Its main purpose is to clean skin and shrink skin's pores.

Korean Skincare Step #5;
Essence:

Essence is the heart of the Korean beauty routine. It's somehow similar to serum or booster but it's more watery then them so it's more similar to a toner but its purpose isn't cleansing. It helps in hydrating and balancing your skin PH. You don't have to dab a cotton pad in Korean essence and clean your face but you need to press it on your face with your hands, moving inside out. If you've overproduction of sebum or acne on your face then this product isn't suitable for your skin.

Korean Skincare Step #6;
Use Serum or Boosters:

This step is quite useful when you've spots or pigmentation on your skin. But if you've a clear skin then you don't need to follow this step and you can skip it. Serum penetrates deeper into the skin and nourishes skin cells. It makes pores smaller and provides necessary moisturisation to the skin.

Korean Skincare Step #7;
Applying Mask:

We use a mask to tighten skin pores. However, this step is not recommended to use on daily basis. You can use mask twice a weak. There're different varieties of mask available in the market. You can choose the one rich in vitamin C or you can also use Aztec Healing Clay mask. Clay mask suits best on my skin but everyone is different so choose one that is right for you.

Korean Skincare Step #8;
Eye Cream Application:

Sometimes, we don't give importance to eye cream but it's good to make your eyes look young and beautiful. The eye cream works best if you've dark circle and puffy eyes. Also, fine lines on the forehead (between eyebrows) and on eyes side significantly improve after using eye cream. You can use eye cream twice a week but the best result comes from using it daily.

Korean Skincare Step #9;
Face Cream Application:

Face cream is used to treat skin dryness. After all cleansing, scrubbing and toning, your skin needs moisturisation. If you have an oily skin then go for an oil-free moisturiser.
Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream, 2.53 Fl Oz is a Korean Moistfull Collagen Cream. You need to massage it on your face from centre to out. This Cream is quite effective to many people.

Rosehip oil suits my skin and it also has so many benefits so I use it on daily basis. You can also check its detail on 4 Best Rosehip Oil Uses.

Korean Skincare Step #10;
Suncream Application (SPF):

There are so many benefits of using suncream. Sun rays could do a lot of damage to a bared skin. It can give spots, early ageing, pigmentation, sunburns etc. In Summer always use Suncream 50 + SPF and in Winter you can use Suncream having low SPF. If you want to read about the importance of suncream then check post 'Importance of Suncream'.

In the end,

If you want to have flawless skin then try Korean beauty routine. Follow steps that suit your skin type and you won't regret.

  7. Proper skin care is important because our skin is the largest barrier against infection that we have. Keeping our skin healthy and moist helps keep this barrier strong. When the skin gets dry or irritated by harsh soaps, cracks in the skin can occur. Cracks in the skin make a person more prone to infection.
