5. Improves Oxygen Supply to Muscles:

Dehydration causes blood volume reduction which results in a reduction of oxygen supply to muscles and you feel tired. Also, our lungs need to be hydrated to expel carbon dioxide and to oxygenate properly therefore drinking an adequate amount of water per day influences oxygen level.

6. Balances Lymph System:

Taking water helps to balance the lymph system. Adequate functioning of this system assists in performing daily body tasks like balancing body fluids and fighting against infections.
Morning water intake is really good for overall health and drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day may help in preventing or curing many diseases.

7. Helps with Nausea:

Dehydration can cause nausea symptoms. Also, drinking too much water can make you feel queasy. When feeling nausea, sipping water throughout the day can help in easing the symptoms.

8. Prevents Kidney stones and UTI:

One of the benefits of drinking water in the morning is preventing developing kidney stones and urinary tract infections (UTIs). Stone-forming crystals are likely to form during dehydration. Drinking water can stop sticking crystal together and flushes toxins off.

As water kicks out toxins, it averts bacteria to develop UTIs. Also, it dissolves antibiotics and makes them more effective for those suffering from UTI symptoms.

9. Ease Menstrual Cramps:

Bloating is common during this period and drinking water can ease this symptom. Taking warm water may increase blood flow throughout the body and it results in relaxing the muscles - thus relieving menstrual cramps caused by uterine contractions.

10. Lower Hypertension and blood pressure:

Drinking water can aid in lowering blood pressure as dehydration affects blood pressure levels. Chronic dehydration leads to high blood pressure. When the body gets less water than needed, the brain sends signals to the pituitary gland which starts secreting vasopressin. This chemical (vasopressin) causes constriction of blood vessels resulting in hypertension. 11. Helps with Rheumatoid Arthritis ( joints pain):

Dehydration can occur due to many factors like sweating, consuming a high salt diet, a modern living style, taking caffeine and alcohol, etc. So drinking enough water can keep you hydrated as eyes are highly dependent on water intake due to their high water content level.

13. Eases headache:

Many people are still unaware that dehydration can be a reason for their headaches. Due to exhaustion from mental work, one may feel heavy-headed or experience headaches. The best is to drink a glass of water when feeling headaches especially during or after having excessive mental work. It may take up to 3 hours in easing symptoms. 23. Good for Diabetic Patients:

Drinking water is important for diabetic patients as it doesn't raise blood sugar levels. Dehydration can be caused by a higher sugar level in the blood so drinking 8-12 glasses of water can help the body to eliminate excess glucose through urine. For more information, check the post, 'Water and Diabetes'.

Pulmonary TB is caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis and one of the factors found in non-multidrug resistant smear-positive Pulmonary tuberculosis patients is dehydration. So dehydration can contribute to developing TB.
